I'd like to know more...

It is our prayer that if you are not already a Christian, you would like to know more about the Lord Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, all the great privileges He has won for you by His suffering, His death upon the Cross and His glorious Resurrection and Ascension.

We hope, too, whether you are a Christian or not, that you have been stimulated to want  to know a little more about the Free Church of England, otherwise called the Reformed Episcopal Church.

Any of our parishes would be delighted to welcome you to any of our services or other activities. Go to our List of Churches page to find the nearest Free Church of England parish to you.

If you would like further information, or would like to talk to someone about the Free Church of England or the Christian Faith in general, please feel free to contact -

the General Secretary of the FCE, The Rt Rev'd Paul Hunt M.Sc, Bishop of the Southern Diocese, 329, Wolverhampton Road West, Willenhall, WV13 2RL. Tel: 01902 607335

or for enquiries about the website contact the Webmaster, The Rev'd John X. Leal - Jlealx1@gmail.com

Some of the available literature that may interest the inquirer -

A History of the Free Church of England otherwise called the Reformed Episcopal Church This 2nd edition was published in 1994. It is priced at £7
The Free Church of England - Introduction to an Anglican Tradition. By the Rev. Dr. John Fenwick. A scholarly and substantial book, published in June 2004. Dr. Fenwick is a former lecturer in Christian Worship and Church History at Trinity College, and was Assistant Secretary for Ecumenical Affairs to the Archbishop of Canterbury between 1988-92. It is expensively-priced, but well worth it, for those with a serious interest. Probably not for the general reader.
What Reformed Episcopalians Believe. By The Rt. Rev C. E. Cheyney of Chicago. Bishop Cheyney was the first Bishop of the REC in America to be consecrated by Bishop Cummins. This book, originally written for the American Church is a good summary of where the FCE stands on matters of Faith and Order. Priced at £5.

An edition Anglicised and revised by the Rev. David R. Boulton is currently under  preparation.

The Book of Common Prayer of the FCE (together with the Psalter and the Ordinal) Priced at £5

A series of leaflets giving an introduction to the FCE and answers to FAQs is currently under revision by the publications committee.
